Ho to stop showing up more posts below the "next page" numbers on Category page?

Hi there,
On my category which lists relevant posts, I have limited the number of posts per page to 6. That category shows correctly six latest posts and at the end of this lists the “next page” squared numbers appear correctly.
However, right after these numbers all posts in the category are listed making the page too long and difficult to follow.
It does not make sense why it shows “Next Pages” numbers while at the smae time it shows actual next posts in the same page. whereas in order to see the next pages the expectation is that we go to the next pages.

Can you tell me how you make it so that you have 2 section of the blog category archive? have you modified theme somehow?

No I have not modified the theme. The only CSS I have added was just yesterday using your recommendation for removing featured image from posts:
/Remove post featured image/
.post-content .entry-header {
display: none;
}
The problem I reported has always been there since I created the site and the added CSS had no effect on this problem:

For your information, on Reading Settings:

  • I am using Static page as home page
  • Blog pages show 6 posts
  • Syndication feeds show 5 items
  • For each article in feed show summary
  • I am using category to show relevant posts to each category.
    I have no idea why there are two sections of the Blog Category archive. Can you pleae let me know where exactly I should check to find out about the two sections?
