hi!
I’m bit new in wordpress and I would like to know how can I setup my home page as seen on the demo?
Just the image + beginnning button “read more” of the recent posts. I couldn’t find any info about it in the documentation.
What should I do?
Do I need to create a new page called Home and maintain the settings> reading > latest posts ?
When you install the theme, by default the blog post entries (Normal blog view) should appear on the front page. However, if you want your home page to appear exactly as seen in the theme demo, you need to use a static page.
Please have a look at the following link:
Point no. 9 in theme documentation will answer what you want to know. If you still have any queries, please feel free to ask.
Hi once again Angie. There is something wrong with the setup. I’ve visited your website and it appeared fine to me. (See screenshot-a) However, when I refreshed the page it looked like as you described. (See screenshot-b)
If you want your blog to appear as displayed in the demo, you can try the following:
Go to settings> reading
Select Front page displays [Your latest posts]
Click on [Save changes]
Go to Appearance> Theme options
Check on [Check if you want to enable slider]
Select [Slider category] to the category of your blog from which you want the slider to show images. [Make sure you have featured images set on the posts in that category]
Let me know if you still need any clarification or further assistance.
Now it worked, but I still have problems with the read more button.
This buttons is at the end of the post. The posts are shown in whole, not excerpts. Where can I activate that? I found something similiar on this post https://colorlibsupport.com/t/read-more-button-always-visible/ but I don’t know what/where this tag is.
Yeah, I Kinda of solved that. This theme is a bit confusing, I used the travelify theme and it worked fine in other blog, i got everything working in less than 1 hour.
With this theme Iam struggling for 3 nights…
Do you have any idea how can I solve the button problem?
