There are two template options - Default and Full width, but the home page has no sidebar. I verified by changing home pages t, and no matter which one is selected as the home page, it then appears with no sidebar. What’s that all about? What must be done to enable the sidebar on the home page, and why would it not us the default layout? Aside from that I like this theme, but this seems very odd…
You can bring it back by simply removing/renaming front-page.php file from your theme root folder. This will make theme to use page.php template instead. This template was originally created, so users can use shortcodes, frontpage widgets and would provide some extra flexibility. It could have done better and will see what I can done with the upcoming theme updates.
