Home page won't display sidebar?

On this site the default homepage won’t display a sidebar

although it is set to default template, not full width? I want it display as this page

http://www.kilninian-mull.co.uk/self-catering-at-kilninian-schoolhouse-mull/

What have I missed?

You can try achieving this by using the attached child theme of Unite theme that contains custom code.
