As the title says; I recently started developing a Wordpress site and I feel that I’m approaching this the wrong way. I started out with colorlibs Shapely theme and it didn’t take long before the different modules couldn’t solve what I tried to achieve. So I have used the custom html widget and CSS a lot. Now the whole site is almost just this. My employer wants (but in my opinion doesn’t need a CMS), but I feel I don’t use the CMS to its full potential. If you want to change something you probably have to know a bit of html. Which my employer is fine with, but I still feel this is wrong.
