I need help on how to add recent post in static home page and how to resize it because I want to put it in 4 columns.

You can display the recent posts in your static home page by using the shortcodes provided by the following plugins.

I am not sure what you meant by 4 columns but you can make it display full width by setting its layout to Full Width in the page edit screen as shown in the attached screenshot.
