How to add 'Top Posts' widgets in sidebar

I am a beginner in WordPress, so I want to know how to add ‘Top Posts’ widgets in the sidebar.

You should be able to add and edit the widgets from the widget section under the appearance >> widget menu.
From here check for the sidebar and drag and drop the widget .
