Hi,
We have been using Unite for a while. Just now we decided to try the Widgets.
In Dashboard–>Appearance–>Widgets we dragged functionality to the widgets enablers and saved.
We also tried it in Dashboard–>Appearance–>Themes–>Widgets.
But the widgets are not showing in the web pages.
What are we missing?
Our site’s theme is customized from using Unite as a guide/template. We called our customized theme Nusa.
This is wrong way to do this. You should not make any changes in the Unite theme because if you make changes in the theme file then you have to make these changes again after theme updation as changes made in the theme files get lost on theme updation.
You should instead create child theme of Unie theme and develop custom code in it.
Unfortunately our site’s original developer is no longer with us. What should we do to enable the options you shared with us.
Now you have to either make changes in the Nusa theme by developing custom code or create child theme of Unite theme and make changes in it.
Developing custom code for custom functionality is beyond the scope of support that we provide here.
If you are not a developer then you can consider hiring a developer to develop it for you. You can hire a developer from any freelance site. Colorlib recommends the developer https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~011652ffec8865c6d5
