How to implement short codes in to this theme?

Hi,
I want to implement a before-after plugin (for the image comparison), which works with a shortcode. For example this one, Before After Image Slider Lite – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org

I couldn’t find where and how to insert the short code… I tried directly editing in WordPress and also in additional css. I couldn’t make it work. How can I make the plugin work in such cases?

Hi,

I’m currently using Illdy theme.
I want to add a image slider to my home page header. I installed plugins and tried to do it.
But inseting Shortcodes are not working. Please help me
