How to remove latest news section and add different section?

Hey guys…
I want to remove the latest news section completely and insert a new custom section on to it.
How can i do it?

Hi @harsh1412,

If you want to remove the section go in appearance>customize and deselecth the check button “show this section” See a printscreen in attach.

If you want to add custom section you could do this with widgets. Go in appearance > customize > widgets and there select the section where you want to insert a widget. From the widget list select there arbitrary text or html.
