Image size on blog / news section

I was wondering if there is a way to change the image size on the main blog page which lists all of the recent posts? Issue I have on desktop is the images are MASSIVE. It looks like the theme defaults to 750x500 size. This is way to large in my opinion and makes the page look crazy.

Anyway with CSS or a different way of making the images smaller and preferably centered as well. (or even better have the image to the left side of the text itself so it looks more like a list?

(See attached mockup picture of how I would love the list to look, anyway to do this?)

Any suggestions appreciated.

Im so sorry dear but there is no other way to display image, there is no option to change this view of the images of the blog, CSS cant make changes to this style
