Curious if there is a way to cache homepage slider images.
It seems kind of a frustrating UX if every time a user refreshes the page the slider has to reupload images.
It could be file size, but they are saved to same dimensions as yours in the demo…
Thoughts?
Right now I have no plans to add cache for theme slider but you can use cache plugins like W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache for your website and that will definitely help to make your slider loads much faster on second load. Personally I use W3 Total Cache but both plugins will get the job done very well.

I can’t get the slider to initiate. I’ve got two images in as separate featured images, but the slider UI graphics are not popping up. Are the JS files already in there? is jQuery already being called?
