Import Demo Content: Plugins are "activating" forever

Hello. I just downloaded the Shapely theme. I’m new to WP.

When I try to do the recommended actions; I click the Import Demo Content button. Then the plugin (Shapely Companion Plugin) is installed in a few seconds and then it gets stuck “activating”. The same happens if I click the Activate button myself. And the same thing happens for the other recommended plugin (Contact Form 7).

What’s wrong? I’m stuck.

Hi,

It is weird, don’t know what cause that, make sure go to Dashboard -> Plugins and make sure the plugin is already installed or activated, if that isn’t there, please install the plugin from the Dashboard -> Plugins menu itself, search for shapely companion in the plugin page, and install it. Shapely Companion – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org and see that fixes the issue.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I actually stumbled on the plugins’ sub-menu of WP and noticed your plugins were installed. I tried to activate them from there, and it worked.
