in Nav menu item is not clickable if there is subpages

Hello,

I would like to have clickable menu item also in case there are subpages in dropdown menu. Found some old threads about that and tried to modify navwalker.php by changing

$atts[‘href’] = ‘#’;

to that:
$atts[‘href’] = ! empty( $item->url ) ? $item->url : ‘’;

unfortunately it did not help. Could you give advice how to do that?
Thanks!

Hi @sandras,

Thank you for your another question.

This is the default behavior of Bootstrap framework that we have used in our theme. You can confirm it on the following Bootstrap framework nav menu demo page.

http://getbootstrap.com/examples/navbar/

If you want to make the top level menu link visited on clicking on it then you can use the solution posted in the following reply.
