Jetpack's Square Gallery in Projects side bar

The content width of my Jetpack gallery (or any other gallery I’ve tried) is very small and not centered. It’s placed in the projects widget side bar. How can I change this?

Also, Is there a way to increase the height on the Counter Sidebar?
