Is there any way to have the header/logo image of the site larger? The original size of my site’s banner is 1200x200 px, but when uploaded to the theme it is shrunken down to just 461x152 px.

I have tested it on my test site and it is always displaying larger for me.
Could you please share me your site URL where it’s happening so that i can troubleshoot it?

My site isn’t live yet, but here is a screenshot of the current header and the way it was formatted, much larger, on my old site.
It is displaying fine on my test site as shown in the attached screenshot.
Please try setting too much large image as your header logo image.
Got it to work, I just had to re-upload the image!
