Layout and iFrame Width Question

I want to include pages from another site I administer into a site I am deploying on WordPress using the Dazzling them. At the moment I’m using iFrame to do that. If the page layout is set to full width then the material from the related site appears as I would hope. However, if I choose any of the other layout settings in Dazzling the framed material is truncated.

What is the preferred method for accomplishing what I seek? I would like to embed/frame pages in a static Dazzling page that has a sidebar.

Thanks.

Hi @rerobbins,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

You can try using the following plugin solutions to display content in iframe without truncating it.

Movin

Thanks.

Have you seen the behavior I’ve described? There appear to be no problems with a full width page but as soon as I put up a sidebar or go to less than full width the framed material is truncated on the right and there’s no scroll bar to let me see what’s missing.

I’ve moved towards using the theme full width and without sidebars for other reasons, so it’s not a pressing concern. Still, I don’t like leaving an unsolved problem.

Also, is there some better way to display another website within a page other than framing?

Best,

No i didn’t see it as you didn’t share me the pages URLs from your site where it’s displaying.

You can achieve this by using the solutions posted on the following pages.

Thank you for the pointers in your reply above.

My question was if you have seen the issue I described in other situations, not on my pages.

You are most welcome here

Yes i have seen such issues but it’s not this theme related but generic.

When you say it’s generic, do you mean it’s a generic problem with WordPress and frames or something else? When you have seen these issues have you found a solution to solve them?

The generic meant it affects all websites and not just WordPress sites.

I already shared you the solution in my following reply posted previously.
