Link to other pages in sidebar

Hi

It’s possible to add a link to other page in the sidebar?
I would like to have a part of “last news”, and there, to put the news of other pages where the music grupo is named

For that you can use Text Widget. You can use HTML code in that widget with links that points to external resources.

Most likely you lost me when I said HTML but that’s not a big deal.

  1. Create a new blog post or page
  2. Now that you have open Post/Page editor create text with links that you want to use. For that you can use WordPress regular visual editor.
  3. Once you are done with that switch to “Text” editor. There is a button on the upper right corner on Post/Page edit area.
  4. There you will see HTML code that I was talking about. Copy it and move it to Text Widget and save changes. Now you will have custom HTML powered widget in sidebar.

You can use images, links or whatever you want and everything will work just fine as long as it can fit widget area.

Alternatively you can use WordPress Custom Menu functionality. Just create a new menu and use external links as menu items and then add this menu in sidebar. Here you can read more about how it can be done.
