Links in footer – ”href” disappears?

Hi!

I’m adding some links in the footer of https://anjagatu.se with simple html href-tags. However, when I update and save I only see an ”a-tag”

Why is this, and how can I fix it?

The text I enter:
<a href="https://anjagatu.se/kontakt">Kontakt</a> | <a href="https://anjagatu.se/colophon">sajtinfo</a> | <a href="https://anjagatu.se/integritet">Integritetsinfo</a>

The text I see in ”view source”:
<a>Kontakt</a> | <a>sajtinfo</a> | <a>Integritetsinfo</a>

This happens because links are not allowed in the footer, you can use only plain text

But why aren’t links allowed in the footer? Is there any way to override that? What I’m looking for is an easy way to add some ”hygiene links” (to the contact page, the integrity policy and the colophon) on each and every page, without cluttering the menu with them.
