Logo above menu bar on main page only

I’d like the menu bar to be below my logo on the home page. I saw some other posts that asked for something similar but I don’t want a specific child theme for it, I’d just like to know the code for it, as it doesn’t seem like it would be all that complicated.

I am not sure what you meant by this the child theme contains code of it which needs to overwrite and modify theme files which only can be done by using child theme.

Please advise.
