I am working with the child theme of activello,
I want to move & center the logo and tagline above the header menu.
I am actually trying to achieve the result exactly like the screenshot below:
logo and tagline centered above the header menu
social icons to the left/right of the logo+tagline
menu just above the slider, touching the slider
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
You have to develop custom code to achieve this by referring the solutions shared in the following topic.
I tried implementing the codes mentioned in the respective topics but it didn’t work.
Is it because I am using child theme? If so, where & how to use the custom CSS codes?
The custom CSS code should work regardless the child theme.
Where are you adding the custom CSS code?
Could you please share me your site URL where the code is not working so that i can troubleshoot it?
I added the codes here:
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Customize -> Activello Options -> Other -> Custom CSS
Here’s my website:

You can try achieving this by using the attached custom child theme of Activello theme that contains some custom code.
But activating this child theme will change the whole website.
No it won’t change the whole website because it is child theme of Activello theme.
You have to just reconfigure the menu and theme settings as described on the following page which will not take much time.
Activello theme is a fairly simple blog theme and is very easy to install and setup but here are some tips and videos that will make your life much easier. For more information abut this theme please see theme demo…
