Make blog page right sidebar layout.

I’d like to make the blog page the right sidebar layout. Ive searched the various php files but can’t find how to make this happen. I’ve tried overriding the layout on the page in wp admin to no avail. The inidividual post page works with the right sidebar layout, but the blog main page that lists posts does not. Please Help!!

Have you added any widgets to the sidebar Widget Area? If you haven’t done so, kindly go to Appearance > Widgets and add widgets to the sidebar and you’ll see it there. From my end, I’m actually seeing the space for the sidebar, but no sidebar because there are no widgets.

Have a look at what I’m seeing from my end (attached).
