Menu and sub-menus in different colors

I do the following:
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Customize -> Activello Options -> Other -> Custom CSS

#page .dropdown-menu > .active > a{
background-color: #1FA67A;
}

But nothing changes.

Do you mean the menu title is displaying differently on your site then the menu label? And you want it to display same?

I visited your shared site to see the issue but i didn’t get any submenu there.

Please advise.
