Menu Categories

I created a category to put some of my submenu pages into. The problem Im having is if I click on the category heading, it takes me to a Hello World page. Is there a way to have a category without a page associated to it???

hey there

Let me see it, please provide a link to the page and i will check your problem

The site is not live yet. So how do I send you access?

Hey there

This is your category archive page: http://aiadevelopments.com/category/houses/
and it shows only hello world post, well, this is normal because you have only one post and its hello world… what did I miss?

I want the following. Maybe I’ve set the menu up incorrectly:

On the Menu I have the following:

Home Houses Commercial About AIA Deve

Under “Houses” I have

Residential units
Cottage Units
Boathouse Units

What I want and don’t want:

  1. I just want “Houses” to be a heading without a page to click to. I want people to mouse over the heading " Houses" and go to one of the subhead pages. I DONT want 'Houses" to go to a page.

The same would be for the menu heading ’ Commercial"

I hope this clears things up.

Thx,
M.

Good morning

Well, this is default WordPress feature, you have use custom link menu element of WordPress menus, and in the lik just use # sign, thats it
