Menu Icons not appearing at sidebar and footer

Hi Team,
I have created menus and posted icons, the icons appear at header menu however not appearing in right sidebar and footer, only blank square appears.

Please help on this…thanks! My site address is foolspen dot com

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

You are creating the social icons incorrectly on your site using glyphicon.

Instead you have to create it by following the below steps and do not use glyphicon in the Title Attribute of the social icons menu.

  1. Create a menu like any other menu in the admin area of your site under Appearance -> Menus .
  2. Use the correct urls in the menu items, so for twitter it must be twitter.com for facebook it must be facebook.com. Otherwise URLs won’t get recognized and you will get squares without icons.
  3. Set theme location for this menu as “Social Menu”
