Hi,
some years ago I chose your theme “sparkling” for the homepage of our state school for the blind schloss-schule-ilvesheim.de. Besides its excellent looks I chose this theme for its given out of the box accessibility with screenreaders. However, I was recently informed by a colleague, that menus can’t be accessed anymore when the page is being read with a screenreader. You can see the top level of the menus, but you can’t open them. (Besides, the same happens in mobile view for sighted people.) I tried fixing the problem by adding accessibility plugins, but without success. Unfortunately, I have very little knowledge of CSS, so most guides on how to make a theme accessible are way over my head. Can you give me a hint or guide me to another (preferably similar) theme?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards.
Erich
