Meta title homepage

Hi,

If i don’t have the homepage set up as a page how do i add a meta title and description?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I currently use Yoast, however, as the homepage is not set up as either a post or page i cannot access it and update it via the yoast plugin. Is there another option?

Please go to SEO > Titles & Metas page and then click on the ‘Homepage’ tab. Here you can add a custom title, description, and meta keywords for your site’s homepage.

The meta title of a webpage gives searchers and search engines a brief description of the contents on the page.

Sorry but that’s not related to a theme, WordPress theme doesn’t have an ability to make changes in the search results page in google, you have to deal with a plugin for this, if you have more questions please check YOASt documentation
