Mobile Blog doesn't work

Hi, I hope you’re well. I’ve just looked at my blog on my phone and I can’t open any of the individual blog posts from the phone? I’ve tried it in both Google Chrome and Safari on the phone and neither allows me to open individual posts from the blog main page. The main Blog post page shows four posts at a time but will only allow me to open the last one.
The URL for my blog is: http://northphoto.uk/blog

It works fine on the computer, it just doesn’t seem to work on my phone.

Hi - I’ve just performed a test where I added several test posts. Only the bottom post on the blog page can be opened by clicking on it. The first 3 on the mobile blog page cannot be opened.

Could you try to add more content on the posts? Some dummy text maybe.

Hi Cristian, I did try that, to try and force the ‘Read More’ button to appear. The thing is that even when the ‘Read More’ button appears, it’s the same as the posts and you can’t click on it.

I’ve added it to the 2nd post entitled ‘The Need’ now and it still doesn’t work I’m afraid.

It seems like a bug, I will forward this issue to the developer team.

I will keep you updated. Until we get an answer, could you try to set the page as a static page and see if like this you could access the posts?

Hi Cristian, I’ve tried that & didn’t make any difference so I’ve returned it back to how it was again. Do you know when the developer team will be able to have a look please as it’s quite a critical bug that’s affecting my blog functionality quite badly?

Hi Cristian, do you know if anyone is looking into this please? Although I love the theme, it’s sort of a deal breaker as to whether I use it or not if people can’t open the blog posts from the main blog page.

Thanks again for all your help, I really hope we can get it sorted as I love the theme and really don’t want to have to change it.

H Cristian, I’ve installed the theme from the link you sent. It made no difference. The Blog page has 5 posts on it but on the mobile version, you can still only open the bottom two.

Hi Cristian, I just re-installed the theme. Do you mean changing the blog over to one of the standard worpress themes, deleting shapely and then re-installing it, rebuilding the website from scratch?

Hi. I transferred my website to the wordpress 2017 theme. Deleted shapely. Reinstalled it. Now when I try to install the widgets i get the following error message: “You must upload a .wie file generated by this plugin.”

I now have no website!!

Right, 3rd install hasn’t worked at all - I’m off. Loved the theme at first apart from the mobile blog not working but at least the rest of it worked. Thanks for the advice but I’m now off to find a new theme and to start again.

Did you install also the shapely companion plugin?
