No home page

Dear all,
I created a blog few months ago. When I created any post it automatically appeared on the entry page. However, when I enter admin panel / Pages / All pages - there is no “Home/Entry Page” visible - as if such page not existed. There are pages I created later like: Styl/Kontakt/Blog i my. But no Home/Entry Page. How can I find or create this Home page without losing any of the posts which are now posted on this page. It will help me use WP Latest Post widget,and I assume also better navigate/control administration of the blog in the future.

Hi Iza,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

I visited your site and it seems you have set your “Front page displays” option to “Your latest posts” as shown in the attached screenshot therefore the posts displayed on the home page is dynamic and there isn’t any home page created in your site admin area.

If you want to display static page as your site home page then please create the home and blog pages on your site and set in your site Reading Settings as shown in the attached screenshot.

Dear Movin,
Thank you for your support. Should I create a Front page and Blog page as separate pages? It is strange as the viewer sees only page with the posts.
Can you tell me how I can put pages NOT in alphabetical order on top of the webpage: http://www.szycietobajka.com/.
I would like the following order: szyjemy / styl / blog i my / kontakt.

Dear Movin,
I put “Blog i my” as Home page and created “Szyjemy” as page with posts. I set up Settings as you mentioned above.
Now:

  • I can see BLOG i MY as Home page - no posts visible
  • When I enter SZYJEMY page - there is nothing there (no posts) although I set up this page for showing the posts.
    I would like the posts to be placed on SZYJEMY page and I would like everybody to see this page as the main when one opens: http://www.szycietobajka.com/.
    Can you help me?

It seems you want to display the blog posts on your home page then you can achieve this setting your “Front page displays” option to “Your latest posts” which you had already.
