# Open url from home page widget in new tab

Hi there,  
on the homepage \<v2.a-casaccio.eu\> I want to force the the button \< Das aktuelle Wetter\> “hingehen” to open the desired URL in a new browser tab. It should not replace the content of the homepage. How can I manage this? As far as I see the needed button of the widget can only contain a URL and not any added piece of code such as \< target="\_blank":\> which needs to be added for that behavior to the a href code …

Please note that the site is still under construction

this little helper works fine and does what it should: opening the external links in new tabs.
