Page Numbers Instead of Older / Newer Post

Hello,

Is it possible to have page numbers on search results instead of older / newer post buttons?

Thank you

Hi @beautyrefiner,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

Please make sure to use latest version of Activello theme and it will work on your site.

If not then could you please share me your site URL where it’s happening so that i can troubleshoot it?

Best Regards,
Movin

I believe my theme is updated. Here are a couple URLs where it’s happening:

http://beautyrefiner.com/?s=lips&submit=Search

http://beautyrefiner.com/category/brand/100-pure/page/2/

While you’re looking at the first link, how can I make it have 2 columns (like in the second link) instead of 4?

Thank you

This can be child theme issue on your site so to confirm it just temporary use the Activello theme instead of child theme on your site. If everything works fine then it’s your child theme issue.

I switched to the Activello theme temporarily and it still said older / newer post instead of page numbers.

This can also be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.

If it is not the plugin issue then would you mind if i log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please share me your site log in details privately by checking the option “Set as private reply” when replying to this topic?

I deactivated all the plugins and it still did not show page numbers. My log in info is:

Thank you for sharing your site details.

I made it work on your site by adding some custom code in your child theme.

Thank you but is it supposed to be on the side rather than the bottom on pages other than the first one?

Also, would it be possible to have the numbers line up in a row rather than be stacked?

It is displaying in the bottom of the pages as shown in the attached screenshot.

Yes it is line up in a row as displayed in the attached screenshot. Please test it clearing your browser cache or using different browser.

I cleared my cache and now its displaying properly. Thank you!

You are most welcome here
