Hello,

I would like to add pagination on my site instead of “older / newer entries” buttons.

But i’m unsure where to add the php code, because I cannot find the ‘older/newer’ buttons…

Thank you for your another question.

You can achieve this by using the plugin WP-PageNavi – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org and using latest version of Sparkling theme by downloading it from the below page where the support for wp-pagenavi plugin is added.

Although I don’t find it in the changelog, I can see you’ve apparently added pagination to the latest update, with no switch in the settings to turn it on or off.

This is not cool, as your pagination is overwriting the WP-PageNavi plugin settings.

@slobjones Thank you for notifying us about this. I have notified this to the theme developer here https://github.com/puikinsh/Sparkling/issues/123 so that it will be corrected in the future version of theme.

In the meanwhile you can try using WP-PageNavi on your site by using the attached custom child theme of Sparkling theme that contains some custom code.
