Parallax section for front page

Unfortuntely the widget “Parallax section for front page” causes strangely superimposed images on my fronpage if the widget is defined as "image position/background small

Plase take a look at <kukukandergrenze.eu> You will notice that the “extra small” picture for “CafeBar” is positioned above the previously shown picture. Whats causing this??

I can temporary fix this behavior if I switch between the image position "small "to “background full” and back again. For a short time it is then ok but suddenly without any further changes of adjustment the faulty picture presentation appearance again.

Oddly enough ithas worked properly for some time but now I cant fix this faulty behavior.

Any Idea how to fix?

Sounds really weird :slight_smile: should not happening by default, the problem i have right now on your site is that image is not appearing at all, is it removed totally?

yes Noda, really weird. I’m talking about the photo behind the “KuKuK CafeBar” head and the button “mehr”. Its an interior photo of a cafe. For me its allways there, but unfortunately sometimes in a wrong position. This photo sometimes overlapes the articel photo “man sitting on a flew market stand” above.

I also notice that I can sometimes fix the problem and force the correct positionwhen changing the browser window size … weird!

For a better understanding I will attach 2 screenshots of the wrong and right positioning of the background small picture.

Please add this css code in appearance > customize > additional css:

But why does the choosen parallax effect not work with just the parallax widget itself? Maintanance of the site is getting more complicated if I have to add aditional code to make the parallax widget work :frowning:

Well, I saw similar problem with one other website and to be honest, i was not able to fully investigate it, so even no i don’t know what is the cause of this exact problem, good things is that we are always here and we will back up our themes always :slight_smile:

Please let me know if the described weird (parallax widget) behavior will be fixed in a future theme update.
