# PIcture Size

Hi, we have problems with the header image of homepage slider, it never fits with the page width. We have edited it at 1018/460 but it is always narrower than the page. We can not make a panoramic view, the images tends to get square. We tried with wordpress and lightroom photo editor several times.

Hi @evuchina,

Yes the slider images should be at least of the size 1018px X 460px but the images used in the slider on your shared site is smaller than it as shown here [http://i2.wp.com/esencianimal.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/DSC\_0758-e1455995720958.jpg?w=690](http://i2.wp.com/esencianimal.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/DSC_0758-e1455995720958.jpg?w=690)

So please make sure to use large images and then use the following plugin to regenerate images sizes.
