Possible to wrap long menus?

I have a site with some very long drop-down menus that get cut off on the bottom of the page. Is there a way to make the menu contents split into columns after a certain length?

Could you try instead splitting the dropdown menus in categories?

example:
categories1
submenu1

5

That’s how I’ve dealt with it for now, I was just hoping there was a column option (which would be cleaner).
