Post Preview Problem - Only loading Full posts

Hi there,

On the shapely theme, my posts are only appearing as full posts on my blog page. I want to make these previews of the text with a ‘click more’ option to view the whole post. How do I do this?

Hello there,

I hope you are doing well today.

You can change the post excerpt view by going to Admin Area > Settings > Reading > For each article in a feed, show, and from here you should be able to set if it shows just a summary or full text

thanks for the response, though that hasn’t worked in the reading settings. Please see my blog page here:

I want them to be snippets and to be able to click “see more” like you have done here:

Have you added any kind of custom code to the theme?
That code ma be causing an issue here.

I’m experiencing the same issue as described the above. The blog shows the entirety of each article despite the settings being set to “summery.” And no, there is no custom code added to the theme.
