Posts on starting page are not aligned

Hi there,
I hope this will be my last question for today. I just recognized that my posts on the starting page are not aligned any more.

In the very first, the picture isn’t even in one line with text any more. After that the left outline of posts and pictures jumps in and out with every post. On the category pages everything is fine. As well as on the mobile phone.

Thanks to you!
Alex

Hey there,
I hope you’re doing well today

I checked your CSS and via the chrome inspection tool and something seems to be off.

Kindly search for the following code and change the padding-left:25px to 0,

article.post:nth-child(even) {
    padding-left: 25px;
    padding-right: 0;
}

If you find no such code, add the following code instead.

.blog.home article.post:nth-child(even) {
    padding-left: 0;
    padding-right: 0;
}

Best Regards,
Support

Hello, I could not avoid your blog, it’s very nice. I dare to ask you something. How to make social networking icons just below the logo? This is my blog.: http://ideasparalaclase.com/

Karem

Hi there,
thanks a lot for the code. Now the posts are more aligned but still not perfect in line. And now the pictures and the text of all posts are not in line any more, too.
Maybe you could have a look at it?
All the Best to you
Alex

Dear Karem,
Thanks a lot :-D!
You just have to edit your header.php file and include these two lines:

<?php dynamic_sidebar( ‘header-widget’ ); ?>
<?php if( !get_theme_mod(‘header-widget’) ) activello_social_icons(); ?>

You have to copy them in between these lines

<?php if( $show_tagline && get_bloginfo( ‘description’ ) != “” ) : ?>

<?php dynamic_sidebar( ‘header-widget’ ); ?>
<?php if( !get_theme_mod(‘header-widget’) ) activello_social_icons(); ?>

			<?php endif; ?>
		</div><!-- end of #logo -->

		<?php if( ! is_front_page() || ! is_home() ) : ?>

		<?php endif; ?>
	</div>

</header><!-- #masthead →

I hope I could explain it a little bit to you and I also hope it works for you, too ;-).
All the Best
Alex

Hey there,

we revised the CSS used.

Kindly remove the one that was given an add this instead.

/ALIGN POSTS/
.blog.home article.post:nth-child(even):not(.odd) {
padding-left: 10px!important;
padding-right: 10px !important;
}
.blog.home article.post:nth-child(odd) {
padding-left: 10px!important;
padding-right: 10px !important;
}

Best regards,
Support.
