When one clicks on a primary menu item the previous menu item stays selected (color does not go back to neutral). The user must click on the sub item to neutralize the previous menu item. It would be more intuitive if the click that brings up the sub menu also turned off the previous primary menu item.
I hope you are well today and thanks for posting here.
In the Dazzling theme the menu item gets highlighted which is currently visited by the visitor.
The menu items also gets highlighted temporary when it’s hovered or the menu item having sub menu is clicked but it’s temporary and the highlight gets removed when we don’t hover over menu item or clicked elsewhere or when we refresh the page so as this action doesn’t remove the previous persistent menu highlight.
If you want to then we can differentiate the persistent menu highlight and temporary menu highlight by applying different colors on it.
