Problem with creating front page properly/other problkem

Hi,

I followed your guide for common issues when starting up the theme… I made a home page and blog page, went to “Reading” and selected home page and blog page. I downloaded all the plugins, but when I try to change ex. the “projects” section it just says “Control various options for projects section from front page”. I don’t think that should be right according to the videos you did on managing projects etc?

Hello @eray,

You should also make sure that you activate the Custom Posts Types in Dashboard > JetPack > Settings > Writing > Last option > Check boxes.

Please confirm that you got everything alright.

Hi, I’ve both boxes checked but I still get the same “error”: “Control various options for projects section from front page”. It only allows me to edit the section name. How can I solve this?

Hi @niclamarino,

In order to make changes you need to go in Appeareance> Customize> Widgets, select the section and from there click add a widget and you will be able to modify the desired section.
