I try to add a URL to the URL field of Project entries, which I expect it to be clickable and redirect to the URL I have assigned. but when I click save and publish, the URL is gone again and on the front end when click on the Projects, instead of redirecting me, it only enlarges the image.what is that field used for then??

Please try adding the URL in the following format:“www.websitename.com”, you need to remove the “http:\” from the link.

I have the same problem and put URL without http:\ and it still disappeared.

Thanks for keeping in touch with us.
This field is a bit tricky and has been reported to the developer as a bug, however, I just went in and tested https://www.google.com and sure enough, it worked.
Just experiment with the http// or non http:// versions of the link and see which works for you.

thanks for your help, I literally tried everything - even to place a custom URL into the image settings but it always disappeared.
I’ve seen in some recent discussions that it has been reported as a bug and it should be fixed with the update of the Illdy plugin so I wonder whether it’s true.
