Project Widgets URL not working?

Hello,

In using the Illdy theme, I’m trying to customize the projects section. From Appearance > Widgets > Front page -Projects Sidebar. I’ve entered a title, uploaded and image for that project and in the URL area I’ve entered a page link that contains a gallery of images. However when I test it by clicking on the project image it will only display that uploaded project image and not take you to the URL. I have tested a video URL which does work, just not the URL field. Am I missing something?

“However when I test it by clicking on the project image it will only display that uploaded project image and not take you to the URL” - Well, this is how this element works, there is no other functionality for this element unfortunately without customization this is not possible to open url in new or in existing tab :frowning:
