Question regarding recent post in right nav section

Hello there,
I have a question regarding the ‘Recent Posts’ widget in the right nav bar, the demo shows that the posts has a thumbnail image, and the post name and date in a new line. However, when i use the default theme and add the ‘Recent Posts’ to the right nav section, i just see the icon, post title and the date in one line.

How to add the image, and other formattings as shown in the demo page for ‘Travelify’ theme?

Hi Guys,
I found the answer. actually the recent posts section is basically a new plugin Recent Posts Widget Extended – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org. Adding this did the trick.

Might be useful for others too.
