Remove Page Title

Hi,

I’ve seen this question answered numerous times. I am trying to remove the title, date and my name from pages I create in Shapely. I have these codes presently located in Additional CSS but none of them are working.

body.page h1.entry-title {
display: none;
}

.page-title-section {
display: none;
}

Am I missing something? I cannot provide a link as my website is not live yet.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

You can try achieving this by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS option of your theme on the below path.

Admin Area -> Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS

h1.entry-title {
    display: none;
}

Also send the URL to your page so I can assist you better.

I think I broke my site. It’s saying:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’, expecting end of file in /html/thedeepcall/wp-content/themes/shapely/inc/customizer.php on line 517

Is there a way to get the original shapely customizer.php file?

Hey there,
Thank you for keeping in touch

You can locate the file at the given file path, you’ll have to access the files via FTP.
You can use the following plugin if your host allows it to edit.

Hello Again,

So I got my site up and running again, but unfortunately that code didn’t remove the title. I’m posting a screenshot of the website and the code used so you can see it. It still shows the title and date etc.

thank you for replying with that information.

Could you please provide me with the URL to the page you’re trying to make these modifications on.

Best regards,
Support.
