Remove text from slider image and using child theme

Hi,

I need some help with the following:

  1. I would like to remove the all the text from the slider image. I found this thread https://colorlibsupport.com/t/removing-text-from-slider/ where the question was asked but I don’t understand the answer.

  2. How do I use the child theme provided in that thread? Where to I put the child theme? Does the child theme delete the current theme I have on my site?

Just download the child theme zip file and install it on your site by uploading it as you install other WordPress themes described here How to Install WordPress Themes - SiteGround Tutorials

Does the child theme delete the current theme I have on my site?

Not it doesn’t because it is child theme of Activello theme.
