I tried removing: function sparkling_footer_info() {
global $sparkling_footer_info;
printf( esc_html__( ‘Theme by %1$s Powered by %2$s’, ‘sparkling’ ) , ‘Colorlib’, ‘WordPress’);
}
We use your great sparkling theme for our new website and we were wondering wether or not we are allowed to remove the " sparkling Theme by Colorlib Powered by WordPress" line from the footer.
Looking at your answer to paraleldreams’ question I suppose it is totally legal to not mention you as the author of the Theme and to remove that line from the page entirely.
Is that true and is it true also for business websites?
Is there any page about license stuff I could refer to?
