Removing attribution once license purchased

Maybe an obvious question but am I ok to just remove the code from the html pages once I have purchased the license?

How is the license assigned to my website/domain if I just do this?

Thanks

Hi @kontekx (and @ethan345),

Yes, once you’ve purchased the licence you can remove the Colorlib credit from the footer. Delete the credit markup from the HTML pages and that’s it.

You don’t have to register or assign a domain anywhere. Nothing in the template checks a licence or a domain. Your purchase is the licence, and your order receipt is your proof of it.

The terms depend on which licence you bought:

  • Single Template ($19): that template, on up to 5 domains
  • All Templates plan: unlimited domains while the plan is active
  • Lifetime Membership: unlimited domains, no expiry

You can use the template for your own sites and for client sites. What you can’t do is resell or redistribute it, or a modified version of it, as a template or theme.

The full terms are here: Licence - Colorlib and every download also includes a LICENSE.md file with the same terms.
