removing title of pages in llldy theme

how can i remove the big title of page in llldy theme?
i read all topics but i cant find the solution.
thanks for your support

Hello @shima,

Try this CSS code to hide the page titles:

.page #header .bottom-header h2{
display: none;
}

This code should be placed in a child’s theme stylesheet.css, ideally.
But you can use a custom CSS plugin or place it inside Dashboard > Appearances > Editor > Style.css but keep in mind that this will get erased if you update the theme.

Regards

thanks a lot, it works.

one more question! how can i change the color of font in main menu(default is white) and also change the orange(default color of theme) color when highlighting when mouse move to menu or lines under title?

also change color of footer background?

thanks again for your answer.

Hello,

This code handles the menu color:

#header .top-header .header-navigation ul li a {
    color: #fff;
}
#header .top-header .header-navigation ul li a:hover {
    color: red;
}

This is for the footer:

#footer {
    background-color: red;
}

Let me know if you got it alright

yes it works alright.
i really appreciate your support.
i wonderful how a website can be well orgnized with great customer service.
thanks again

Hi! I want to do the same thing, but when I paste this

.page #header .bottom-header h2{

Hello
I’m dealing with the same issue, would like to remove the big white title at the top of pages and posts. I inserted the given code both in
Appearances -> Simple Custom CSS
as well as in
Appearances -> Customise -> Additional CSS
but it has no effect.
Website: http://ecocommunities.co.uk/

Thank you!

Did you only check ecocommunities.co.uk? The titles still have not disappeared for my site, meowornever.org. Please advise. Thank you!

Hello @leesia,

Please try using the following CSS code to remove the text:

/*Header text removal*/
#header .bottom-header h1 {
    display: none;
}

Thanks for the reply! For anyone reading this, that code worked to remove the titles but also removes the homepage title. Thanks to support from another thread, I added this to the additional CSS and it kept just the homepage title.

.home #header .bottom-header h1 {
display: block!Important;
}

Hello,

I am reusing this old topic because I want to do the exact same thing but for only one post: is it possible?
I’ve tried to use an if ( is_page () ) but it doesn’t seem to be working. Is there any way to make it post-specific and not general for the whole site?

Thank you!
