Removing Widgets

Hello,

I have recently installed the Illdy Wordpress theme, but I am having some issues with the homepage / widgets.

I would like to be able to display the about section without any widgets, however when I remove these it is filled with a placeholder slider.

Is there any way I can remove this so it’s just the heading copy and the about text, without any widgets or it’s placeholder % sliders that are positioned when the space is unoccupied.

Hello @nicklyons,

I’m not sure if I follow exactly the problem, but it seems like you need to add blank text widgets so the placeholder content does not fall back.
