Replace Slider with Image

I’d like to replace the slider on my homepage (http://www.mummyonthego.com) with a static image. I tried adding this line <img class=“fullscreen alignnone size-full wp-image-135” title=“Border1” src=“http://www.mummyonthego.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/8.jpg” alt="" width=“1600” height=“10”> into my header page. It works, but I end up having the image on all my pages. I only want it on the home page.

When i add that line above to index.php, the image doesn’t stretch (fullwidth)

Any suggestions?

You can try achieving this by using the attached custom child theme of Activello theme that contains some custom code.

Thanks so much! Is there a way to make the picture ONLY show on the front page only, and not the other blog posts?

To achieve that please use the attached updated child theme instead of above shared child theme.
