Resizing Featured Image on Slider

Hi,

I’ve been searching in the forums and other Web sites online to have this question answered, but…

I have a blog <http://365inasnap.com> and the images uploaded here are at 640px by 480px. I was looking for a code that would resize (or scale the image upwards) the image so it makes use of the sliders completely. Right now there are gray bars on either side of the slider image, and it’s driving me nuts.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

The featured slider uses the images in size 1920px X 550px so please make sure that you have featured images set to the slider posts having this size or greater than it.

We can not make images bigger easily through code but you can resize them by regenerating the thumbnails using the following plugin.
